Delly is our best seller, and the reason is usually the eyes — bright blue against white fur, with fine black stripes and a small pink nose. White tigers photograph beautifully in a nursery, which is probably why he is the one that ends up on the gift table.

The sound box inside plays gentle white noise or a classic lullaby on a 20 or 40 minute timer, with two volume levels, and shuts off by itself. Used at the same point every evening he stops being a toy with a noise in him and becomes the signal that the day is finished.

The blanket body is the part a little one holds — soft, light and easy to find in the dark. It packs down for the nappy bag, and a velcro strap at the base holds a dummy or attaches him to the pram.

Our Materials

Delly is made from 100% polyester — chosen to stay soft and hold its shape through a lot of washes and a lot of cuddles.

Built To Last

Delly's eyes and features are embroidered rather than attached, so there is nothing to work loose. The sound unit lifts out, which means the whole comforter goes through the wash and comes back out fluffed up — the part that usually finishes off a soft toy.

My daughter’s bestie is her “Uni”. Someone gifted it to us at my baby shower and it became her favorite thing very quickly. Once we moved her from the bassinet to her crib in her room, we would use “Uni” for nap time and bedtime and then put her near her crib with the music or white noise on. Eventually (after too many dropsies) the sound stopped working but “Uni” continued to be loved even more as our daughter grew. She was her first stuffie that we allowed her to sleep with in her crib once she got big enough. It became an endless attachment where she needed “Uni” At meals, playtime, naps and bedtime (so… with her 24/7 so bathtime for “Uni” became difficult for Mama lol). We lost “Uni” one day about a month or two ago on a walk. I never thought as a mom I would cry for a stuffed animal but I cried along with my daughter on our way home that day. I immediately emailed this amazing company to see if they could rush one out to me. My daughter only had to be without her bestie “Uni” for one or two nights thanks to them! And even better, two sweet girls found the original and now she has two! We love her love for Uni and can’t rave about this amazing product/toy/bestie enough :)

Is the comforter toddler tough?

Before releasing each range we tested them with a number of, let us call them, adventurous boys and girls. They stood up to regular tantrums, food messes and heavy-duty outdoor play, and once washed they came back looking as good as new time after time.

How loud is the music box?

The lower volume is set so it will not damage a little one's hearing when they are snuggled right up to it. The second, slightly louder level is for public places or a noisy pram trip, so they can still hear their familiar sound on the go.

How big and heavy is the comforter?

Laid flat, the blanket measures 36 x 36 cm (15 x 15 inches) and weighs approximately 350 g.

How does the music box operate?

The music box sits inside the padded head. The buttons slot neatly into each ear and play either Brahms' Lullaby or white noise. Each comforter comes with a diagram and instructions covering how to start and stop the sound and how to set the volume level and run time.

What size batteries does it take?

Our musical comforters take 2 x AAA batteries. Our interactive plush toys take 3 x AA. In both cases the battery compartment is sealed with a small screw so children cannot get into it. Most common brands last months, even with very regular use.
